Company History

1985	June	J.B.I. Corporation established (Adachi-ku, Tokyo) Japan Bio Improve inc. Started commercialization of special ceramics "BRC22" and research, development, manufacturing and sales of fuel equipment and environmental equipment.
1986	Dec.	Began production and sales of far-infrared radiators using BRC22.
1988	Feb.	Patent application filed for a method of preventing deterioration of lubricating oil (Patent No. 2539479, granted in July 1996)
1989	Jan.	Begins production and sales of the "TH Series" multipurpose active water supply systems for general-purpose use in waterworks.
1990	July	Patent application filed for wastewater treatment equipment (Patent No. 3024683, granted in January 2000)
1994	May	Head office relocated to Omiya City, Saitama Prefecture
1996	Feb.	Constructed a factory in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture.
	Apr.	Head office relocated to Minami-ku, Saitama City for business expansion
	July	Became a designated supplier for Tokyo Medical Cooperative Union
	Nov.	Received recommendation for TH Series from the Environmental System Business Cooperative Association
1997	Mar.	Certified by the Minister of Construction as "In-line type water filtration system (TH Series)" (Ministry of Construction Tamajyusyu-shiho No.19)
	Dec.	The TH Series was registered as a certified product (Z-39) by the Japan Water Works Association.
1999	May	Installed as a standard OEM product in Sumitomo Fudosan Home's healthy housing FORZA. https://www.sumitomo-rd.co.jp/ Wikipedia
2000	May	Aqua Home-ing started as an OEM product for the Misawa Homes Group. https://www.misawa.co.jp/ Wikipedia
2001	Jan.	Received New Business Award Incentive Prize from the New Business Conference of Japan
	Dec.	Patent application filed for water quality improvement device

2004	Dec.	Received the Environmental Businessperson of the Year Award from the Saitama Environmental Businessperson Committee
2008	Oct.	Obtained patent for water quality improvement device Patent No. 4207181 (filed in December 2001)
2010	Oct.	Approved for registration as a Saitama Prefecture Challenge Management Declaration Company
2011	Mar.	Iwate Plant was completely destroyed by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the plant functions were relocated to the head office.
	Apr.	"TH Series" became a product (technology) supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Agency's New Market Development Support Project.
2014	Apr.	TH Series adopted as one-stop comprehensive support project for small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses (Yorozu Support Center).
2021	July.	Tokyo office opened in Samon-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo
	Aug.	Head office and factory relocated to Kumagaya-shi, Saitama
2023	July.	Launch of "BRC22" website with the foreign brands
	Oct.	"BRC22" trademark registered (Registration number 6744479)
2024	May	Beginning preparations to establish BRC22 (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. for domestic sales operations in Taiwan.
